In a nearby natural water reservoir  you can swim, although participate on excursions on the finca or you might help with the daily farm work. Guided walkarounds with explanations of agricultural and forestry production and the encountered flora and fauna can be arranged as well as riding excursions to the nearby beaches Marsella or Maderas. Watch the many species of birds early in the morning hear the alarm of Congo monkeys, this place is ideal for relaxing. The island of Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua is very close you can get there throug the port of San Jorge right behind the city of Rivas. There are several daily ferries available , the crossing takes about an hour.
